Dato’ Lee Kok Kwan is presently a Board member of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad, CIMB Bank Berhad, CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited and Cagamas Holdings Berhad.Formerly CIMB Group’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, his areas of responsibilities included corporate banking, transaction banking and the sales and trading businesses in interest rates, credit, foreign exchange, bonds, equity, commodities and their derivatives, treasury and funding for the Group, fixed income investments and debt capital markets which he developed since joining CIMB in 1996.
Prior to joining CIMB, Dato’ Lee had more than seven years of markets and treasury experience in the Canadian banking industry. He was the Treasury Portfolio Manager responsible for interest rate and optionality risk and return for a leading Canadian bank and a member of its Senior Asset-Liability Management Committee.
Dato’ Lee is also currently the President of the Financial Markets Association and Adviser to the Securities Commission Malaysia.Dato’ Lee holds a BBA Joint Honours (First Class) degree and a Master in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, Canada.
Dato’ Wan Kamaruzaman Wan Ahmad is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) [KWAP] since 2nd May 2013. He is also the Board Member of Valuecap Sdn Bhd and Malakoff Corporation Bhd as well as the Director of Prima Ekuiti (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of KWAP based in London, United Kingdom.
Prior to joining KWAP, he served as the General Manager, Treasury Department of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) since October 2007. He began his professional career with Malayan Banking Berhad in 1981, mostly in Treasury Department with two overseas postings in Hamburg, Germany as the Chief Dealer, and in London as the Treasury Manager. After leaving Maybank in 1994, he served as the CEO and Director in several companies within the Affin Group until 2005. He then briefly served Kemuncak Facilities Management Sdn Bhd and Izoma (M) Sdn Bhd, both as Executive Director of Finance until 2007.
Dato' Wan Kamaruzaman is currently the Chairman of the Institutional Investors Council Malaysia (IIC) and a Board member of the Minority Shareholder Watchdog Group (MSWG). He is also a member of the Financial Stock Exchange – Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Advisory Committee in London, as well as the Institute of Integrity Malaysia. In addition, he is one of the corporate members of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) and the Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA). Dato’ Wan Kamaruzaman holds a Bachelor of Economics majoring in Analytical Economic (Hons) from the University of Malaya.
Mr Steven Choy Khai Choon is presently a Board member of Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad, Zurich Takaful Malaysia Berhad (formerly known as MAA Takaful Berhad), Deutsche Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad, RAM Rating Services Berhad and Asian Banking School Sdn. Bhd.
Mr Steven Choy served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cagamas Berhad from 2006 to 2012 and held directorships within Cagamas group of companies. Prior to joining Cagamas Berhad, he served various senior positions in the financial industry mainly in the areas of financial management, strategic planning and business development. He was the Regional Finance/Planning Director of Aviva Insurance Asia, Chief Executive Officer of Morley Fund Management Ltd, Aviva Insurance Group, Singapore and Senior General Manager, Group Head of RHB Bank Berhad.
Mr Steven Choy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of New South Wales, Australia and a Master in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University, USA. He also attended the General Management Programme at INSEAD, France. Mr Steven Choy is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Fellow of the Australian Certified Public Accountants.
